Kolin was regarded a non-essential nutrient up to the last 5-10 years. People also thought that the human system itself produces the 3-4 grams that it needs daily. Contrary to this, the most recent opinions emphasise that under strong mental and emotional stress, we might use as much as twice the daily amount.
It is important that we replace it as:
On the one hand, it takes part in the process that makes cholesterol useful for the cells, that is blocks its tendency to settle. On the other hand, during the metabolism of the brain, kolin is transformed into acetylkolin, nerve-mediator. If we try to describe it in a more descriptive way, we can say that it is acetylkolin that lets ideas and thoughts through the brain. IF there is not enough kolin reserve in the system, this effect proves to be short-lived. On an everyday level it is at these times that we feel we can concentrate only for a short period of time or that we cannot be happy about something for a longer period of time. As we know, the brain of newborn babies develops very quickly. Therefore it is not by chance that their daily dose of breast milk has as much kolin as an adult uses.
Scientists researching this area have described the deficiency symptoms affecting the brain processes and memory. Thus, if you are struggling with difficulty concentrating, forgetfulness, annoyance or headaches, we might have good reason to suspect that it is the lack of kolin behind it. Certain researchers might go as far as to say that the deficiency of this type of vitamin B (when combined with the deficiency of other nutrients) gives a greater chance to Alzheimer’s disease.
The reason behind starting problems of concentration is that important nutrients are consumed primarily by essential organs, like the heart, the liver and the kidneys. It is for this reason that replacement is needed in the form of a diet rich in nutrients, in the form of a lot of kolin and other bio-materials.
To sum it up, our system partly produces kolin but the co-operation of other materials: metionin and szerin protein materials, folic acid and vitamin B12 is also needed for this.
A large concentration of ready kolin vitamin can be found in broomcorn and wheat germ, and now in Flavin7+ and Premium capsules as well, together with the flavonoids.
